Valid from November 1, 2025
Decided by the board of Treptower Teufel Tennis Club e.V. on September 17, 2025
- Authorization for access: The tennis hall may generally only be entered and used by authorized persons. These are club members authorized to play as well as guests with corresponding court bookings, club coaches, court manager, designated technicians for maintenance purposes, and tennis players participating in competitions. All other persons are generally prohibited from entering the tennis hall. Violations will be reported and prosecuted as trespass.
- Court booking: A court in the hall must generally be booked by users. Booking is done exclusively digitally via the eBusy booking system. This does not apply to the use of courts during competitions or by club coaches of Treptower Teufel Tennis Club e.V.
- Access to the courts: The playing area, especially the courts, may only be entered with appropriate playing equipment. This includes particularly clean shoes suitable for the playing surface (acrylic / hardcourt) (all-court shoes or shoes with smooth soles) as well as clean tennis balls (i.e. balls that have not previously been used on clay courts).
- Hall technology: The lighting is controlled automatically. At the start of the booking time, the light on the booked court is automatically switched on when players enter and automatically switched off at the end of the booking time. Manual interventions in the hall technology (lighting and heating) are not permitted. The operation of the blinds is done by users as needed. The fire alarm is only to be used in case of fire or suspected fire. Violations will be penalized.
- Before starting play: Users check the court they are using for damage before starting play. Possible damage to the playing surface (e.g. large scratches, cracks, holes in the court), to the net, net posts or lighting must be reported immediately to Treptower Teufel Tennis Club e.V. This can be done on-site, for example with the court manager or club coaches, or online with documentation (e.g. photo and description of the damage) to kontakt@treptower-teufel.de. If the inspection and notification are omitted and damage is discovered by subsequent users, the club can assert claims for reimbursement against the user who failed to report it.
- After play ends: Dragging or cleaning the court is not necessary – unlike with a clay court. If damage occurs during play, it must be reported immediately to Treptower Teufel Tennis Club e.V. This can be done as in point No. 5 directly to contact persons on-site or online.
- Leaving the hall: If no other users are playing on the other courts, open windows must be closed before leaving the hall. When leaving the hall, it must be ensured that the entrance door locks and can no longer be opened from outside.
- Play not possible: If a user has booked a court but cannot use the booking due to technical reasons on the club’s side (e.g. access does not work or light is defective), the club is obliged to refund the booking fees to the user.
- Penalties for violations: Every user of the tennis hall accepts these terms of use when booking a court or entering the hall. Treptower Teufel Tennis Club e.V. will strictly monitor compliance with the terms of use. It reserves the right to evaluate booking data. Violations of the terms of use can lead to serious consequences such as a ban from playing in the hall and fines of up to €10,000.
