How to become a member of Treptower Teufel
Joining is generally possible at any time. The process only takes a few steps:
Steps to join
- Download the application form: separate forms for adults and children & teens (U18)
- Fill out the form digitally (U18: signed by a parent/guardian)
- Print the form, sign it, and scan it
- Send the completed, signed, scanned application by email to mitglieder@treptower-teufel.de
- Receive the membership confirmation by email
- Register in our booking system: after acceptance, you’ll be enabled for court bookings.
Note: By entering into the agreement, you accept the club’s constitution and fee schedule.
Please read them before joining – especially the sections on volunteer work hours (every member over 14 must complete five volunteer hours), the calendar-year membership (regardless of your join date, you pay the full fee for the current calendar year in your first year), and the cancellation conditions (to cancel for the next year, we must receive your cancellation by 30 September of the current year; otherwise your membership is automatically extended by 12 months).

Application forms
We have two application forms: one for adults and one for children & teens (up to their 18th birthday). The form for children & teens must be completed by a parent/guardian.
To be considered, we need your application both completed digitally and scanned with signature, sent by email to mitglieder@treptower-teufel.de.
Our annual fees & charges

What’s included with membership
- Outdoor courts in the summer season: use of the clay courts from approx. mid-April to mid-November (weather permitting)
- Free newcomer training in your first calendar year: ideal for getting started and meeting other players.
- Club & playing offers: open play sessions, team/leisure formats, internal tournaments and events.
- Club facilities & community: access to clubhouse/changing rooms, participation in club activities.
- Discount on indoor court prices: members receive reduced rates for the winter indoor courts.
What is not included
- Entry fees for external tournaments / LK tournaments: depending on the event, fees may apply
- Indoor courts are always paid and must be booked separately.
- Coaching with club coaches: individual/group sessions are billed directly with our coaches. For children and teenagers, weekly training is not included in the membership fee and is only possible if there are available training groups. Info: Youth training.
Key rules for members at a glance
Here are the most important membership rules that new members should know:
- Volunteer work hours: From age 14, members must complete 5 hours/year. Missing hours are charged at €20/hour.
- Cancellation: for the following year by 30 Sep via email to mitglieder@treptower-teufel.de; effective 31 Dec
- Payment: annual fee due on 1 February (in your joining year upon acceptance).
- Calendar-year principle: fees apply per calendar year – even if you join during the year, the full annual fee is due.
- Proof for reduced rates: please submit by 31 Jan of the contribution year.
- Court use & indoor times: summer courts included; indoor courts are paid separately (member discount may apply).
- Constitution & fee schedule: accepted upon joining; please read in advance.
Do you have to be a member to play at Teufel?
Short answer: no.
Guests can use our outdoor courts in the off-peak summer hours for a fee. All info & booking here: Play tennis in Berlin without membership. Our indoor courts can also be booked by non-members; however, members have priority and usually better rates.
Tip: If you want to get to know the club first – or if you start late in the year and don’t want to pay the full annual fee – playing as a guest is a good option. For regular play, events, community, and free newcomer training in your first membership year, switching to membership is worth it.
