How it works: Booking a tennis court with us

As a non-member, you can easily book a tennis court with Treptower Teufel in Berlin – no paperwork, no club commitment. All you need is a few minutes to reserve your court online.

Booking a tennis court online – it’s that easy for guests in Berlin

• 1. Register for free: Create a user account at treptower-teufel.ebusy.de. Registration is quick and completely non-binding.
• 2. Choose a court:
  • Outdoor courts: In the “Outdoor courts” section, you’ll see all available times. Simply pick a free slot that suits you.
  • Indoor courts: If you want to play in one of our indoor venues, select the “Indoor courts” module.

• 3. Set your playing time:
  • Outdoor courts: You can choose a booking duration of 60 minutes or 90 minutes.
  • Indoor courts: Longer booking durations are also possible for indoor court bookings.
• 4. Book as a guest:
  • Outdoor courts: Enter “Guest” as your playing partner.
  • Indoor courts: You don’t need to enter a playing partner.
• 5. Booking times for guests:
  • Outdoor courts: Guest players can book courts at the following times:
    • Mon–Thu: until 5 pm or from 8 pm (from late May to late July there is enough daylight to play until 9 pm)
    • Fri: until 5 pm or from 7 pm
    • Sat, Sun: anytime
    • Bookings can be made up to 2 days in advance (on weekends up to 36 hours in advance).
  • Indoor courts:
    • Indoor courts can be booked at any time during the winter season.
    • Bookings can be made up to 5 days in advance.
• 6. Cost per hour:
  • Outdoor courts: Court rental for guest players is €30 per hour – regardless of whether you play alone, in doubles, or in a group of four.
  • Indoor courts: Depending on the time of day and the indoor venue, court rental is between €24 and €36 per hour.
• 7. Payment & confirmation: Payment is made directly online via PayPal through the system. You will then receive a confirmation email.

Please note: Paid bookings cannot be refunded.

If you cancel your outdoor booking in the booking system, you will receive a credit for your next booking. If your match is cancelled due to weather and cancellation is no longer possible, please email us at kontakt@treptower-teufel.de. We can then issue a credit to your account.

Frequently asked questions about renting a tennis court

Do I need a club membership to play?
No, you don’t need a membership. You can easily rent a tennis court in Berlin, even without joining a club.

When can I book as a guest?
In the summer season, guest players can rent outdoor courts on weekdays until 5 pm and from 8 pm (Fridays: from 7 pm), and all day on weekends – as long as there are no tournaments or league matches. You can see all free times directly in the booking system. Bookings can be made up to 2 days in advance.

In winter, indoor court bookings can be made at any time.

How does booking work?
Booking is done online via treptower-teufel.ebusy.de. Register there, choose an available court, and book with just a few clicks.

How much does it cost to play as a guest?
Court rental for outdoor courts is €30 per hour, no matter how many players are on court.

During the winter season, indoor courts cost between €24 and €36 per hour.

How long can I play?
You can book outdoor courts for either 60 or 90 minutes – whichever suits you best.

During the winter season, indoor courts can be booked for 60 minutes or longer.

Can I play with friends?
Of course! Simply enter your playing partners as “Guest”. Everyone is welcome.

What equipment do I need?
If needed, you can borrow balls in the clubhouse – please put them back after playing.

Note: We also keep a small number of loan rackets in the clubhouse next to the balls. Feel free to borrow one and please put it back after your match.

What should I keep in mind regarding court maintenance?
Clay courts must be brushed/dragged after your match and the lines should be cleaned. This is important for clay courts and ensures consistently good conditions for everyone. In dry weather, please water the court before you play.

Hardcourt courts do not need to be brushed/dragged.

Which shoes are allowed?
We kindly ask you to wear clay court shoes on the clay courts. Studded shoes or football boots are not allowed, as they can damage the courts.

Indoor hardcourt courts may only be entered with absolutely clean indoor shoes (clean all-court / smooth soles).

What happens if it rains?
If you can’t play due to weather conditions, please contact us via email at kontakt@treptower-teufel.de. Unfortunately, we cannot refund the amount, but we can issue a voucher for a free new booking.
