Tennis Kindergarten & Tennis School
We divide the training by age. This keeps the groups age-appropriate, makes the exercises more suitable and helps the children grow into tennis step by step.
| Offer | Age | Time | Focus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tennis Kindergarten | 5–6 years | Saturday, 9:00 AM | ball games, movement, coordination, first exercises with racket and ball |
| Tennis School | 7–8 years | Saturday, 10:00 AM | playful learning of the basics, simple exercises, first rallies |
No previous experience needed: Children do not need to know how to play tennis yet. The only thing that matters is that they enjoy movement, balls and playing together on court.
Learning Tennis Through Play
At this age, the focus is not on performance, matches or technical pressure. The main goal is fun, movement and an age-appropriate introduction to tennis.
- Simple games: Children get to know the court, the ball and the racket through small tasks and playful exercises.
- Ball skills: Rolling, throwing, catching, bouncing and hitting help children develop a feel for speed, direction and distance.
- First basics: Step by step, forehand, backhand, movement to the ball and simple rallies are introduced.
- Fun on court: Children should enjoy coming to training, move a lot and leave the court with a good feeling.
The training is led by Silke and is designed specifically for young children.
