You will learn solid fundamentals, build more control in rallies step by step, and you can join even without a membership.

FAQ: Beginner tennis course

Do I need a membership?

No. Tennis training without membership is possible – simply book as a guest via eBuSy.

I don’t have tennis shoes – is that okay?

Clay court shoes are ideal. Normal sports shoes usually work as well, as long as the sole is not too chunky or heavily studded. Rackets are available free of charge.

Do I need my own racket?

No. You can borrow a racket from us free of charge.

I’m not sure which course fits me best.

Level 1: Beginner is right for you if you have no or little experience. Level 2: Beginner Plus is right if you can already keep short regular rallies going. If you already hit consistent groundstrokes with direction and depth and have a reliable serve, our advanced courses from Level 3 onward are likely a better fit.

Can I just try it out first?

Yes – simply book a single session. We do not offer a separate free trial session for adults.

What should I wear?

Sportswear is completely fine.

How early should I arrive?

Please be at the court on time for your session.

Where exactly do I need to go?

Go to the court listed in eBuSy.

What happens if only very few people have booked?

Training generally also takes place in smaller groups. However, we reserve the right to cancel sessions with fewer than three participants up to one day in advance. In that case, you will receive a credit.

What happens in rain or cold weather?

In winter, training takes place as usual in our indoor air dome. In summer, training usually still takes place in light rain. If a session has to be cancelled due to weather, please email kontakt@treptower-teufel.de; you will receive a credit.
