Social Tennis Sunday is our relaxed tennis meet-up for everyone looking for playing partners and a tennis group in Berlin – no team commitment, but plenty of match practice.
Is it right for you?
- Level: Players need to be match-ready – forehand/backhand and serves should basically work
- Age: open from age 12
- Format: we rotate – depending on numbers, we play doubles and singles
- Balls: provided on site
- Rackets: A few rackets can be borrowed on site

How our Social Tennis Sunday works
A relaxed tennis meet-up in Berlin: You arrive, we organise the groups, then we rotate – so you get lots of playing partners and different matches.
Steps on site
- Arrive – shortly before the start at the meeting point, outdoors on the outside courts in summer.
- Check-in – Hanna or Marlon keep track and coordinate.
- Groups – depending on the number of participants, we play doubles and/or singles.
- Rotation – after a while we change partners/opponents to keep it social.
- Play – fair, friendly, no pressure to perform, but with plenty of rallies.
Outdoor summer season
- Time: every Sunday without league matches
- Location: outdoor courts
- Maximum: 20 participants
- Price: members €0, guests €10
- Meeting point: directly on the outdoor courts, shortly before the start
- Shoes: clay-court tennis shoes
Weather: If courts are closed or there are any changes, we will share the information in the WhatsApp group.
Indoor winter season and during league matches in the summer season
- Times: 13:00–15:00
- Location: hardcourt hall, courts 11–13
- Maximum: 14 participants
- Price: €5 members, €15 guests
- Meeting point: directly in the hardcourt hall, shortly before the start
- Shoes: clean indoor tennis shoes

Rules at a glance:
- Registration: always register and pay in advance via eBuSy.
- Communication: WhatsApp for information, updates and possible changes: join the group.
- Guests: simply book via eBuSy as well.
- Equipment: please bring your own racket; a few loan rackets may be available in the clubhouse. Balls are provided on site.
- Shoes: clay-court shoes in summer, clean indoor tennis shoes in winter.

FAQ
Can I come without a playing partner?
Yes. That is exactly what this format is for: you book your spot, we rotate and organise the groups on site.
Am I welcome as a beginner?
Yes – as long as forehand, backhand and serves basically work, so rallies can get going.
From what age can I join?
Open from age 12.
How do I book as a member or guest?
Always via eBuSy. Members can book 14 days in advance, guests 7 days in advance.
What if I cannot make it after all?
Winter cancellations are possible up to 2 days before the start. Please cancel in eBuSy in good time.
Balls and rackets?
Balls are provided on site. Please bring your own racket; there may be a few loan rackets in the clubhouse.
What shoes do I need?
Summer: clay-court tennis shoes. Winter: clean indoor tennis shoes.
