Social Tennis Sunday is our relaxed tennis meetup for anyone in Berlin looking for hitting partners and a tennis group to play with — no team pressure, but lots of match play.
Is this for you?
- Level: Players must be match-fit — forehand/backhand & serves should basically work
- Age: open from age 12
- Format: we rotate — depending on turnout we play doubles and singles
- Balls: provided on site
- Rackets: A few cen be borrowed on site

How Social Tennis Sunday works
A relaxed tennis meetup in Berlin: you show up, we put people into groups, then we rotate — so you get lots of partners and different matchups.
Steps on the day
- Arrive — a few minutes before the start at the meeting point (in winter: directly in the permanent hall).
- Check-in — Hanna or Marlon keep an eye on things & coordinate.
- Grouping — depending on numbers we play doubles and/or singles.
- Rotation — after a while we change pairings/opponents to keep it “social”.
- Play — fair, friendly, no pressure (but plenty of rallies).
Outdoor (summer season)
- Time: every Sunday with no scheduled team matches
- Price: free for members, €10 for guests
- Shoes: clay-court shoes
Weather: If courts are closed or anything changes, we’ll post the info in the WhatsApp group.
Indoor (winter season in the permanent hall)
- Time: 13:00–15:00
- Location: permanent hall, courts 11–13
- Maximum: 14 participants
- Price: €10 members, €13 guests
- Meeting point: directly in the permanent hall, shortly before the start
- Shoes: clean indoor shoes

Rules at a glance:
- Registration: always sign up and pay in advance via eBuSy.
- Communication: WhatsApp (info, updates, possible changes): join the group.
- Guests: simply book via eBuSy as well.
- Equipment: please bring your racket (there may be a few loan rackets in the clubhouse); balls are on site.
- Shoes: summer: clay-court shoes; winter: clean indoor shoes.

FAQ
Can I come without a playing partner?
Yes. That’s exactly what the format is for: you book your spot, we rotate and assign matchups on site.
Are beginners welcome?
Yes — as long as forehand, backhand and serves basically work, so rallies can happen.
From what age can I join?
Open from age 12.
How do I book (member or guest)?
Always via eBuSy. Members can book 14 days in advance, guests 7 days.
What if I can’t make it in winter?
Winter cancellations are possible up to 2 days before the start (please cancel in eBuSy in good time).
Balls and rackets?
Balls are provided on site. Please bring your racket; you may find a few loan rackets in the clubhouse.
What shoes do I need?
Summer: clay-court shoes. Winter: clean indoor shoes.
